Abstract Two sections of this note present Anderson’s article 'Seeking and Saving What Might Have Been Lost'. The first summarizes what the author calls the six means of Luke’s 'interpretive activity' in re-telling Jesus’ parables (introductions, identification of the audience, aphorisms, 'I say to you', narrative collocation, and interior monologues). The second brings together Anderson’s remarks on the parable of the dishonest steward. The last section offers some points of critique. It suggests, by means of three examples, that an important seventh editorial quality of Luke is forgotten: his creative composing endeavor.
