Abstract The synod of bishops about God's speech in October 2008 vigorously drew believer's attention to the necessity of a more frequent study of the Bible. But the privilege of the Scripture does not cancel in Christianity the presence of speeches which do not enjoy the same link of the Biblical words with the original revelation text, still they express a peculiar connection with God's speech. "Catechism" is a significative evidence of that. The position in faith economy of these historical realizations has an objective importance for the building up of Christian initiative in history The matter is questioned in a triple articulation. The phenomenon is reconsidered in its historical validity and returned in its ground theological plausibility. The reassessment of the "Final Propositions" of the Synod of bishops about God's speech allows to check the feeling of the church about that. The complicated relationships of God’s words, Biblical words and Christian words are designed in the dynamics which is objectively involved and there are foreseen their repercussions on the schemes of theological knowledge.
