Abstract This is thé publication of a new Sabaean bronze inscription of a servant of "Yadaʿil Bayin son of Yithaʿamar, king of Saba". This long inscription mentions several wars in South Arabia as well as a trade expedition towards Gaza, "towns of Judah", and Kition. The mention of a war between Chaldaea and lonia is to be interpreted as a reference to a Chaldaean campaign against Cilicia and probably a good indication for a date around 600 BCE. It could indirectly reveal that Minaean control of the incense trade with the Levant only began after the reign of Nabonidus, during the Persian Period.
